How To Make Scheduled Data Back-ups Using IDrive

In this tutorial I'm going to show you how to make scheduled data back-ups using the IDrive service.
Step 1: Go to http://www.idrive.com/ and download the latest version of the software.
Step2 : Install and start the software.
Step 3: Open iDrive and SIGN-UP
Enter the requested information and click Continue.
Step 4: Login with your new account and create a back-up list
IDrive will ask you for encryption key. You use the default one as a starting point.
IDrive will open. Now select the folders you would like to back-up. They will appear in your Back-up set.
I want to back-up my Desktop and I will just click on the square to the left of the folder.
Like I said the folder will automatically appear in your Backup set.
Step 5: Create a Scheduled back-up
Read carefully the options offered by IDrive and select a day and time appropriate for you.
I won't my back-up do be done every Sunday at 8 p.m.
I also want e-mail notifocations.
My settings look like that.
Click close when you are ready and you are good to go. You've added a scheduled back-up.
Now click on Back-up now in order to create a current back-up of your sensible data.
That's pretty much it.
